Vive Yoga and Massage

eW3 Design was contacted by Vive Yoga and Massage to discuss the development of a logo and website design. The conversation was better suited to be in person which later evolved into scheduling a massage with the Principal Owner.

Meeting the client in person is always important when gathering information about their project, but experiencing the service first hand was extraordinary helpful in coming up with design concepts and understanding their wellness philosophy.

After the massage we conversed about the message of the logo and what it should make a person feel and think. Serenity, relaxation, peaceful and tranquil were some of the words thrown out to describe what you may feel after visiting Vive Yoga and Massage.

I left with a great understanding of the style of massage and I knew the logo should transcend merely just being a symbol of their passion but invoke the feeling one has after an amazing massage. My designer she listened to me while I interpreted the client’s goals and then she went to work. She made quick work by delivering 6 concepts in the various styles with the preferred icon - the lotus flower and color scheme.

The logo process was like most logo processes: meet with client and gather info, send client samples, select the logo, logo refinements, create final logo and deliver product in various formats and finally create a branding guidelines document.
